A look at this project in retrospect.
We discovered Willie Low Circle and “Sherri W.” through a Property Wholesaler called Property Hub. Our contact at Property Hub is Danny Fazio.
This young man is always hustling trying to find deals for his clients. I trust he is always trying to get the best deal for us and remain profitable for his employer. This deal came to Danny from another Wholesaler and was not ideal for anyone except me.
I tend to want to make something out of nothing. Fixing up a burned-out house to be a jewel is The Dream. Danny tapped into this dream with this deal.
Although this was not a burned-out house, there was a considerable amount of imagination that had to go into seeing through the disaster that was Willie Low Circle. Here are a few photographs to observe the extent of the condition.
Words are hard to find to describe the condition, so I will let the pictures speak to you.
The smell on the other hand is hard to imagine so all I will say is she loved her cats.
She has disabilities that prevent her from getting around the house. She camped out at the front door in a nest type situation. She lost her mother/care provider in the COVID Pandemic. I felt compassion for her, but she was very contrite. She smoked cigarettes, weed and did too much drinking to maintain supporting herself in this home that was both hers and her mother’s. We discovered she had been living there for the better part of 30 months without paying any bills. She manipulated whomever and whatever system she could to not be responsible for her expenses. In buying this house we attempted to help her locate alternative housing and assist her as much as possible. Paying for Storage and Moving Truck, helping arrange the moving helpers. Only to have her change her mind at the last minute. She felt she was being wronged. She finally rejected any help and moved into a hotel. This was her solution and would not be talked out of it. At that point we had to move on. I pray she is well and finds and accepts the help she needs.
